Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is approaching the market soon

After the success of Redmi Note 4 in the Indian market as a budget phone, the Chinese company is now gearing up to launch Xiaomi Redmi Note 5
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has proved to be a game changer when it comes to the budget phones’ market in India. Along with giving Xiaomi a solid footing in the country the Redmi Note 4 also brought in people’s trust on Xiaomi as a brand. And now it appears that the company is working on taking it forward with the upcoming device in the Note series – Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is slated to be released somewhere within the next few weeks along with other Redmi smartphones, such as, the Redmi Note 5A which is a cheaper variant of the original Note 5.
Although the company has managed to keep mum at the moment about the details of the upcoming launch, the rumors are buzzing throughout the Internet. So, here we have a list of details that we so far got to know about the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 smartphone.
First the display – the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features a 5.5-inches display just like the Redmi Note 4 or any Note device for that matter. However, the screen quality has evolved and this might just come with a Corning Gorilla Glass or some other protection. If the rumors are to be believed, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 and will have with two variants – one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, while the other will be with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
Recently, despite all the success and popularity, if there’s one thing that the Chinese smartphone and devices maker is lagging behind then it has to be the software update departments. The company pushes updates in the form of MIUI but Android updates really take very long time to reach even the models that are widely popular and smash hits. With the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, the company might launch the device pre-installed with MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat considering that the Redmi Note 4 has just started getting the Nougat update, suggested reports.
Xiaomi might as well feature the dual rear camera launch the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 with a dual camera setup on the, however, the combination and details of the setup has not yet been known as of yet. At the front, it is expected to feature a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
It will also have a Fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster is expected to pack in a 3,790mAh battery with Quick charge support.
It is being speculated that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will hit the market officially sometime by the end of this month or the beginning of the next month China initially and will then reach India later. The price tag that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will carry could be of 1,200 Yuan (around Rs 12,000) for the base model and the high-end variant might cost more than that.
