The operation reinforces the discretionary transport division and its service capacity in the northern area of Barcelona, as well as throughout the Vallès and Maresme area
The passenger transport and tourist services company Julià has closed the purchase of Autocares Padrós, for 2.5 million euros. With this acquisition, the tourism and mobility business group strengthens the discretionary transport division with the expansion of its coach fleet with 20 new vehicles, up to 280, and incorporates 30 workers from Autocares Padrós. It also optimizes its service in Barcelona and in the regions of Valles and Maresme.
The purchase of Autocares Padrós also involves the rental of a new campaign in Montcada I Reixac, with more than 6,000 m2 and equipped with offices and services, which can accommodate up to 80 buses. This new base of operations, together with the one that the company already has at its corporate headquarters in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, will allow significant savings in travel, time and fuel, reinforcing the competitiveness and commercial options of Autocares Julià, as reported The company in a statement.
Among the new clients are companies from the tourism sector, such as the receptive tour operator specialized in the Far East, Kuoni, Japan Travel Bureau (JTB); the Real Club Deportivo Espanyol; and the FCC group, as well as various schools, among them, Escola Pia de Sarrià, Garbí and Voramar.
Grupo Julià is one of the main Spanish groups specialized in global tourism and mobility services, with a presence in more than 40 cities in 18 countries, and has more than five million clients internationally.
